WILD WEST 1873 is a role-playing game set in the Frontier, starting in 1873

The game combines fiction and historical reality and it includes the following elements:

WILD WEST 1873 has many rules to make the game realistic and interesting. They are, however, simple and intuitive, in keeping with the spirit of role-playing.

It can be played with from two players. It is adviced for ages 14 and up.

A light version of the Rules Manual should be also available soon for those (kids ?) who prefer to have very basic rules.

Players take on the role of cowboys looking to amass enough dollars to spend a peaceful retirement in a rocking chair, glass of whisky in hand. But for now, everyone's pretty broke, and a few bucks wouldn't hurt anyone. At the very least, it would stop having to eat those damn baked beans every day...

WILD WEST 1873 is above all a game of atmosphere and tension. Is this cowboy as fast as they say? Why are the Indians so nervous these days? What? has a miner just struck gold in the hills? That guy over there, he's a former bounty hunter, isn't he?

WILD WEST 1873 is also a game of action, requiring courage, experience, coolness and, at the right moment, fastness...

February 1873,

Last night, in one of the town's saloons, you made the acquaintance of a few cowboys in your situation. You don't know much about them, but the Wild West is a dangerous place, full of snakes of all kinds, and it's often best to go along for the ride. Following a small brawl in which you were unluckily involved, the sheriff, in his generosity, has given you and your new friends until sunrise to leave the town.

As dawn approaches, you mount your nervously blowing horse, pull on its reins and join the cowboys waiting for you just outside town. The trail is ahead. You've been told that further west there's well-paid work to be done by brave, unassuming fellows. The timing is eerily right.
You suddenly remember the old man in the saloon saying that Indians had been spotted roaming around recently. You adjust your hat and, mechanically, lightly touch the butt of your Colt ...
