LE MANUEL DU MAITRE DU JEU
This manual is intended for WILD WEST 1873 Roleplaying Game which is a game set in the American West in the 1870s-1880s. It has been mainly written to give Game Master a source of ideas for building or supporting scenarios. The manual is not as such a historical book, it must be first considered as a reference book with historical information that can be used for WILD WEST 1873 game.
Note that there are important historical data (US. civil war, indian tribes, battles, etc ) that are not present in this manual as they are not directly linked to the game. Most of the maps including in the manual have information for the whole 1860s-1880s period to get a better overall view. Also, present-day states are always taken as references as states and territories boundaries were changing constantly between 1860 and 1880, and it would be difficult to get one's bearings.

However in scenarios maps are up-to-date, that is information available corresponds to the time the scenarios would take place. This is a basic rule for any map of any scenario. If the story takes place in 1875, any map (states and territories boundaries, forts, indians tribes, trails etc ) only shows information until 1875.
